The music department has developed and improved greatly from 2010.  We are now more united and spiritually connected as a team than ever before. God has been exceptionally great in allowing our team to grow in numbers, and we hope he will continue to do so and for us to have a strong spiritual bond through our worship through music.

Our team is 13 strong, we are constantly working together to try and achieve a good balance of sound and quality levels between the worship team and the musicians.  Our standard has been greatly improved.  The Music department is now offering free Guitar lessons courtesy of Christian Hector and these are now underway.

 

Our team has not only grown spiritually but in individual skills and playing together as a unit, our aim for this year is to strive for spiritual greatness and higher levels of worship through playing music.  Last year Pastor Freddy took us through a programme known as the worshipful musician.  This concentrated on the importance of living right and true worship through music.  This has also helped us to build on our spiritual character and given us a chance to spend time together as team.

Minister Nathan has been lead to write songs of worship for the Praise and Worship Team.  We have been working together to compose and produce these songs so they can be taken to a serious level of worship by the praise and worship team and musicians. I pray that this is going to be a great year for us as musicians, and we will not only be able to develop ourselves but work together to be a blessing to others.

 

I am praying that God will continue to have his hand over the musicians and that our team will continue to grow in skill, level of worship and in numbers.
