Nurture Group

Our Vision...
 
The vision for Nurture Group is to encourage growth in the children of God, especially for those people who have recently been baptised or those who are seeking to get deeper into the Word of God.  Our theme is 'ONE' and our focus for 2010/11 is "unity within the church".
 
We believe that in supporting one another through ministry we can move to higher places in God and ultimately win the souls of people who are searching for a personal experience of the Love of God.
 
 
What do we do?
  • Since the group began many of the young people, newly saved and mature Christians have exercised their confidence in Christ in leading our Tuesday sessions based on the theme of Unity and Oneness. After the sessions everyone has an opportunity to pour positive feedback into the session leader and encourage them to move further in their ministry.
  • Every week there is Bible study in the form of group work, questionnaires, question and answer, an open space, puzzles, creative writing/drawing and scripture analysis; the studying is often light hearted and enjoyable with the chance for people to express their insecurities in reading the word of God.
  • Offer the group the opportunity to intercede in prayer for the receiving of the Holy Spirit and spend time in Gods presence.
  • We have joined with the Evangelism Team for Street Evangelism and many people were blessed with this experience, we hope to continue to support the ministry in this way and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • There is no limit on what we can do to encourage, teach and nurture one another!
 
Why are we here?
 
We are here for you! We want to encourage you that whatever situation you find yourself in or wherever you have come from it's never too late to surrender yourself to God and he will never turn you away because you are his children, you are chosen and in God's eyes we are all royalty, so don't give up...it's your inheritance!!

Nurture group meet every Tuesday evening at 7:30pm for one hour.
